The Crew Lead provides supervision and hands-on support to the crew while in the shop and on-site. This person
requires proficiency in all services the company provides and act as liaison between the crew and the
Owners/Operations Team. Our core services are: Parking lot line striping, asphalt & concrete repairs, pressure washing, asphalt seal coating. We will train you on the skills & services, we are looking for the right attitude & motivation for our team!

The first job of the crew lead is to support the Operations Manager:
1. Anticipate and take care of crew, truck, trailer, and shop needs. Stay in communication.
a. Crew: Does the Operations Manager need to know about a professional development need for a crew member?
Does ownership need to be aware of crew members who are not showcasing DRIVEN principals?
b. Shop: Are we low on materials? Are headlamps and batteries on the chargers consistently? Does trash in
shop need taken out to dumpster? How’s inventory? Does anything need to be purchased?
c. Truck: Is everything fueled up? Does anything need fixed?
d. Trailer: Is everything stocked up? Is everything working properly?
2. Plan ahead and take initiative. Every day before you leave the shop, look at the next day’s job. Is there a color
change that needs done, do we have all the stencils we need, etc. Ask Operations Manager any questions about the SOW
for the next day to clarify any questions.
3. Come early and stay late. Arrive early enough to prep the truck/trailer/materials for the jobsite. Crew members
should leave the shop within 10 minutes of their scheduled start time. Everything needs to be on the truck/trailer
and ready to go upon their arrival.
4. Save all receipts. Place all receipts in folder daily.
5. Follow procedures. Don’t take shortcuts. Work through reports as a checklist and not just as a report. Do reports
when/where they are supposed to be done. Ensure the job is done correctly and fully so that return trips are not
needed. Aim for zero safety incidents. Focus on safety first, quality second, and speed third.

Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills (Act as lead and coach first in partnership with other leaders, and as a crew member second.)
  • Provide line-striping  and parking lot maintenance services at an exceptional level (model expectations & work hands-on with the crew)
  •  Look at Scope of Work (SOW) and be able to effectively communicate the steps needed to take to complete the job, assign roles based on crew skills, and organize time on job sites following the SWARM protocol
  • Show care for the team by helping them to grow their skills. (ex: Teach new skills, and if you see something being done incorrectly, stop crew members in their tracks and show them how to do it correctly in a kind and helpful way.)
  •  Be a team player by remaining neutral, never taking sides or showing favoritism to crew members
  •  Maintain a laser focus, pay extreme attention to detail, and take notes when needed
  • Learn, understand, and ask questions to clarify Scope of Work (SOW) 
Take an initiative always:
  •  Don’t wait to be told to do XYZ. Always be a step ahead, and look for what needs done next, and do it or assign it to be done by another crew member. Always come prepared to work area with tools, equipment, safety items, cell phone, etc.
  • Before starting on “the work” always communicating the plan with other crew members, ensuring everyone has a responsibility and knows what they are to be working on.
  • Maintain equipment: (make KnowHow your best friend, taking time to learn)
  • Complete minor maintenance tasks as needed while onsite
  • Keep shop, trucks, and trailers organized & clean 
 Act as the go between person for:
  •  EverLine and the client while onsite
Quality Control:
  • Take accountability for quality, presentation, and safety of your crew. Double check everyone’s work.
  •  Pay attention to ALL details, ie. Paint chips left on ground/not swept up, trailer locked, paint and acetone cans completely sealed, lid to seal coater closed, all steps in KnowHow followed for different processes.
  • Perform quality checks during each project and at the end of every shift before leaving site
Safety:
  •  Ensure that all crew members have and use proper PPE
  •  Follow safety protocols (ie. complete FLHA, know when to use cones, know what steps need taken to keep crew safe, be aware of your surroundings at all times, hold crew members accountable for their safety/PPE)
  • Responsible for ensuring crew member compliance to EverLine policies 
  • Responsible for onsite decisions &/or communicating with Operations Manager in adverse situations
Key Skills:
Strong leadership skills, problem solving, time management skills, attention to detail and organized (take notes in
phone, carry a notepad, make “to do” lists), take initiative
Ability to delegate effectively, manage multiple simultaneous tasks with shifting priority and work well independently
and as part of a team
Mechanical aptitude

Requirements:
  • TX drivers license, reliable mode of transportation and clean driving record
  • Punctual: First In, Last Out
  • Self motivated
  • Ability to work in a physically and mentally demanding role-Hot & cold weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds occasionally

Compensation: $900.00 - $1,120.00 per week
